Usually colour. A grey car and a green car can be mechanically identical and sixty days apart on the floor, and the green one is the better buy every single time.
Sometimes it is timing. Convertibles in November. A truck the week after we took three in on trade. A classic that arrived the same month as a more famous one.
What it is never: a car we are quietly trying to move on. These have the same inspection sheet, the same daylight photography and the same undercarriage shots as everything else on the floor. Ask for the work order and you will get it.
